Cosmopet expands pet treat distribution into Jordan

JORDAN – Cosmopet, an international pet company specialising in premium hypoallergenic pet nutrition, has entered the Jordanian pet food market through a new distribution partnership with Optima for Imports & Exports, expanding the availability of its dog and cat treats nationwide.

The company has launched with a selection of Cosmopet treats, now available at several pet retailers in Amman, including Pet Lodge, VIP Shop, Pet Mart, Best Buddies, Pet&GO Shop and Luxury Pet Shop.

Cosmopet products are also available online through Safe Care, giving pet owners an additional purchasing channel.

The company said it is now seeking to expand its distribution network across Jordan, targeting pet shops, pet hotels, veterinary clinics and other pet-focused businesses.

The launch adds Jordan to Cosmopet’s growing regional distribution footprint as pet food companies increasingly seek partnerships with local retailers and distributors to reach consumers across the Middle East.

Cosmopet expands quick-commerce presence in UAE

Cosmopet is also expanding its presence in the United Arab Emirates through a partnership with Careem Quick.

A selected range of its dog and cat treats is now available through Careem’s on-demand delivery service in Dubai, allowing consumers to order products through the Careem app.

The company said the partnership is intended to improve convenience and accessibility for pet owners, while expanding Cosmopet’s presence in the UAE’s rapidly developing quick-commerce market.

Careem Quick provides on-demand delivery of everyday products, giving pet food and treat brands another route to reach consumers beyond traditional pet shops and supermarkets.

The UAE expansion follows Cosmopet’s wider focus on developing accessible retail and digital distribution channels for its products across the Middle East.

With its new Jordanian distributor and expanded quick-commerce availability in Dubai, Cosmopet is strengthening its regional route to market for premium pet treats.
