CCPA Group targets 30% emissions cut by 2030

In 2024, CCPA launched a structured CSR roadmap centered on four key pillars: reducing greenhouse gas emissions, responsible sourcing, eco-designed innovation, and employee well-being.

FRANCE – The CCPA Group, a French specialist in animal nutrition for nearly six decades, has unveiled an ambitious Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) roadmap aimed at cutting its greenhouse gas emissions by 30% by 2030.

The move marks a major milestone in the company’s long-standing commitment to sustainable livestock production.

Building on over 30 years of research in responsible animal nutrition, CCPA has developed feed solutions rooted in its Phyto-Expertise platform and holds ISO 14001 certification for environmental management.

The company has also championed low-methane nutritional strategies such as Vivactiv’®, while participating in collective initiatives like Duralim and Valoralim to promote sustainability across the value chain.

In 2021, CCPA formally integrated CSR into its core business strategy. Three years later, it launched a structured roadmap centered on four key pillars: reducing greenhouse gas emissions, responsible sourcing, eco-designed innovation, and employee well-being.

We aim to contribute meaningfully to the sustainable transformation of animal production by combining nutritional expertise with measurable environmental action,” the company stated.

Recent modelling by CCPA indicates that nutritional optimization alone could reduce the carbon footprint of animal production by up to 15%.

To further this effort, Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) are being systematically applied to the company’s research and development programs, with a target of covering 80% of its product portfolio by 2030.

Recognized for innovation

Earlier this year, CCPA’s innovation-driven approach was recognized at the Innov’Space 2025 awards in July, where it received two distinctions for its advances in phyto-expertise.

The winning products, Turboviv’SE and Deltabolus FeedStim, showcase how CCPA is turning research into practical sustainability solutions.

Turboviv’SE, a phytogenic nutritional solution for ruminants, enhances feed efficiency while reducing the environmental footprint of milk production.

Formulated with plant-based ingredients and trace elements, the optimized 2024 version strengthens environmental performance without compromising economics.

Meanwhile, Deltabolus FeedStim, developed under the Deltavit® brand, supports dairy cows around calving through a slow-release bolus that delivers patented Scutellaria baicalensis flavonoids to stimulate cellular defenses and protect the mammary gland.

Together, these innovations underline CCPA’s mission to advance animal productivity, health, and welfare in harmony with environmental goals, proving that sustainability and performance can go hand in hand.
