According to Rachel Lum, Sales Oversight Manager for VIV MEA, “I’m proud to see how VIV MEA 2025 has grown, with more visitors and exhibitors each year. Key themes like food security, sustainability innovations, and investment in alternative proteins seem to be shaping this momentum.”
Strategic partnership with ADAFSA
In a major development, VIV MEA 2025 has forged a strategic partnership with the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA).
This collaboration strengthens the event’s role in advancing food safety, biosecurity, and sustainable agricultural development across the Middle East and Africa.
By joining forces, VNU Europe and ADAFSA aim to leverage global expertise and local leadership to address emerging challenges in food security and agricultural sustainability.
The partnership also reinforces Abu Dhabi’s growing status as a hub for innovation and investment in agrifood systems.
Spotlight on poultry and aquaculture
The Poultry Marketing Round Table (PMRT) returns to the 2025 edition with the theme “Intelligent Water Use in Poultry Farming: From Intake to Impact.”
Organised by Middle East Agrifood Publishers (MEAP), VIV Worldwide/VNU Europe, and WATT Global Media, the roundtable will be held on November 26 and will examine how smarter water management can improve sustainability, bird welfare, and farm profitability.
Meanwhile, the event’s first-ever Aquatic Pavilion marks a significant expansion into the aquaculture sector, complete with a dedicated conference program.
Severina Proskurnova, who leads the aquatic segment, said, “The Aquatic Pavilion represents more than just new space. It is the industry recognizing that sustainable seafood production is essential to meeting the region’s protein needs, reducing dependency on imported seafood, and creating local jobs.”
Beyond product showcases, VIV MEA 2025 provides a platform to foster meaningful relationships.
In a market where business success often depends on personal connections, the event serves as a vital meeting ground for decision-makers across the MENA region.
For international and regional companies alike, participation signals long-term commitment and trust. The event also provides key insights into emerging technologies and market shifts, helping participants stay ahead in a fast-evolving sector.
