VIV Select China 2025 to showcase AI-powered innovations in livestock industry

The event will span 48,000 square meters, hosting over 500 exhibitors, including major Chinese players such as Big Herdsman, Guangzhou Guangxing, Nxin, Famsun, Zhengchang, and many others.

CHINA – Registration is now officially open for VIV Select China 2025, the leading platform for cutting-edge innovation and global collaboration in the animal protein sector, organised by Globus Events Ltd. and VNU Exhibitions Europe.

Scheduled from September 10–12, 2025, at the Nanjing International Expo Center, this year’s edition promises to spotlight transformative technologies across the livestock value chain, with a particular focus on AI-powered smart farming.

The event will span 48,000 square meters, hosting over 500 exhibitors, including major Chinese players such as Big Herdsman, Guangzhou Guangxing, Nxin, Famsun, Zhengchang, and many others.

The three-day expo will welcome stakeholders from a wide array of sectors, including swine and poultry production, feed ingredients, feed and farming equipment, animal health, veterinary, breeding technology, and egg processing.

AI-powered innovations take centre stage

A major highlight of the 2025 edition is the introduction of the AI+ Smart Farming Area, designed to showcase integrated applications of artificial intelligence, IoT, and sustainable farming technologies.

Here, visitors can experience firsthand how digital tools are reshaping production management and enabling precision breeding practices.

By driving digital transformation across industry, the platform empowers businesses to align with international standards, integrate into global supply chains, and accelerate their expansion on the world stage,” event organisers noted.

The conference program is built around three central themes: AI and Smart Farming, Green Transformation, and Global Collaboration

Sessions will explore how smart technologies improve operational efficiency and product quality while supporting low-carbon and circular economy initiatives. These innovations are expected to drive down emissions and optimise resource use in the livestock sector.

The event will also feature the VIV International Summit, which advocates for ending internal competition by fostering global partnerships.

It’s time to evolve from product-centric exports to full-chain collaboration, building standardised global systems and resilient supply chains to support the sustainable globalisation of China’s livestock industry,” say the organisers.

Another major draw is the China debut of AgriBITs, a global innovation platform focused on AI, automation, and digital transformation in livestock production. The segment is poised to offer international perspectives on the future of high-tech agriculture.

Beyond innovation showcases, VIV Select China 2025 aims to strengthen business networks. The Hosted Buyer Program, returning after its successful 2024 run, is designed to connect buyers with real purchasing needs to suitable suppliers.

Approved buyers can register via the official event website to receive benefits such as free accommodation and personalised services through V-Match.

Introduced last year, V-Match is a dedicated matching platform that enhances efficiency by organising pre-screened business meetings.

In 2024, the tool facilitated 298 successful matches, and this year’s edition aims to build on that momentum by enabling even faster, more relevant connections.

International attendees can also look forward to a streamlined travel experience. China has recently expanded its visa-free entry policy to 34 countries and extended transit visa-free stays to 240 hours.

Additionally, Nanjing City has launched the “In-Nanjing” platform, providing comprehensive travel support for overseas visitors.

Whether you’re seeking global partnerships, advanced technology, or market expansion, VIV Select China 2025 offers a one-of-a-kind opportunity,” Carolyn Hu, Marketing Manager at VIV Select China, comments.
