The factory will serve as a regional hub for neighboring markets where Vilomix is already active.

POLAND – Vilomix Group is expanding its footprint in Europe with a major investment in a new premix factory in Poland, underscoring its long-term commitment to supporting farmers with locally produced, high-quality feed solutions.
The investment, made through its Polish subsidiary Blattin Polska, marks a key milestone in the company’s international growth strategy.
Expected to be fully operational by the end of 2026, the new facility will have an annual production capacity of approximately 35,000 to 40,000 tons.
The factory will not only enhance efficiency and delivery times for Polish farmers but also serve as a regional hub for neighboring markets where Vilomix is already active.
Strengthening regional capacity
Blattin Polska currently operates two compound feed factories in Poland, and the addition of a premix facility will significantly increase production flexibility and capacity.
According to Vilomix Group CEO Peter Iversen, the move aligns with the company’s long-term strategy and reflects its confidence in the Polish agricultural sector.
“The investment is an important milestone in the Vilomix Group’s international growth strategy,” said Iversen.
“Poland is one of our key strategic markets in our FEED FORWARD strategy towards 2028, and this step strengthens our position in one of Europe’s most dynamic agricultural regions. It demonstrates our long-term commitment to supplying high-quality premix and mineral feed to farmers across borders.”
For Blattin Polska, the new facility represents an opportunity to deepen its connection with local producers and better respond to their evolving needs.
“With our own premix and mineral feed production in Poland, we can serve farmers more efficiently with faster deliveries and solutions tailored to local needs,” said Blattin Polska’s management team, Zbigniew Pustula, Andrzej Mirek, and Piotr Pstragowski, in a joint statement.
“The investment is a strong signal of confidence in our team and the Polish market, and it will provide our customers with significant benefits in terms of flexibility and competitiveness.”
Driving innovation and global growth
The upcoming plant will feature advanced production technologies and flexible packaging options designed to ensure consistent quality and efficiency.
It will enable Blattin Polska to expand its presence across all major livestock sectors and increase its market share in premix and mineral feed.
Beyond Poland, the investment reinforces Vilomix’s global footprint. With operations in Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Latvia, Poland, Spain, Paraguay, and Brazil, the company will now run a total of 12 factories worldwide.
Vilomix, a subsidiary of the Danish Agro Group, is a global supplier of customized vitamin and mineral solutions for the animal feed industry.
Since its founding in 1979, the company has focused on improving livestock health, productivity, and performance through its specialized premixes, feed additives, and advisory services.
By adding a new production hub in Poland, Vilomix not only expands its European network but also strengthens its role as a reliable partner for farmers striving for efficiency, sustainability, and better animal nutrition.
