CHINA – Globus Events is gearing up to host VIV Select China 2025, a major livestock industry exhibition set to take place from September 10–12 at the Nanjing International Expo Center.
The event is expected to draw more than 500 exhibitors and over 18,000 professional visitors to its 48,000-square-meter venue, highlighting its role as a significant hub for animal protein production, technology, and trade.
VIV Select China 2025 will spotlight a wide spectrum of sectors, from feed and feed additives to breeding and hatching, veterinary vaccines, biosecurity, animal protection products, and waste treatment solutions.
Exhibitors will include leading Chinese enterprises such as Big Herdsman, Famsun, Zhengchang, Zhongmu, and Kexing. Alongside the exhibition, more than 20 forums and interactive sessions are planned, with international experts making up over 40% of the speakers.
Organised by Globus Events Ltd. in partnership with VNU Exhibitions Europe, the show continues a legacy that began in 2000 with VIV China.
“China is a huge and complex market, which deserves full dedication and event execution by national professionals,” the organisers noted, underscoring their long-standing experience in the country’s exhibition industry.
Spotlight on AI and sustainability
One of the headline features this year will be the debut of the AI+ Smart Farming Area, showcasing applications of artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, and sustainable technologies for precision farming and digital breeding.
The program emphasises how digital transformation can improve efficiency, align production with international standards, and integrate businesses into global supply chains.
Conference sessions will also focus on three key themes: technological breakthroughs in smart farming, green transformation through low-carbon and circular economy models, and global collaboration to strengthen resilient supply chains.
AgriBITs, an international forum on AI and automation in livestock, will make its first appearance in China during the event.
Strengthening business connections
To facilitate trade opportunities, the show will continue its Hosted Buyer Program, which offers benefits such as accommodation and exclusive matchmaking services for qualified buyers. Its V-Match platform, launched in 2024, proved effective in pairing exhibitors with targeted buyers, enabling nearly 300 successful connections in its first edition.
Beyond the exhibition hall, participants will be able to join the V-Factory tour, an exclusive behind-the-scenes visit to major Chinese enterprises such as FAMSUN, which plays a key role in global “farm-to-table” value chains with a diverse portfolio spanning aqua feed, poultry feed, premixes, and pet food.
