Kenya to host Future Food Livestock & Poultry Expo 2025

KENYA – The Future Food Livestock & Poultry Expo 2025 (FLIP 2025) commences today, 19th February, and will go on to the 20th of February 2025 at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre in Nairobi, Kenya.

This two-day event is gathering industry leaders, policymakers, investors, and stakeholders to explore the latest sector advancements as Africa seeks to cement its role in global food, poultry, and livestock markets.

With Africa’s food market expected to grow by 10.03% between 2024 and 2029, reaching an estimated market value of US$1261.00 billion, the continent is solidifying its role as a global player in the food, poultry, and livestock industries.

Likewise, the African poultry feed industry is projected to expand at a CAGR of 4.19%, reaching US$26.63 billion by 2029. These figures underscore the dynamic evolution of the market and the immense potential for businesses looking to invest in the region.

However, despite abundant resources, Africa still lacks access to cutting-edge, cost-effective technologies to elevate the sector.

FLIP 2025 aims to bridge this gap in Africa’s food, poultry, and livestock sectors by providing a platform where businesses can showcase cutting-edge technologies and solutions.

The event will highlight advancements such as automation systems, IoT livestock monitoring, animal health tracking devices, aquaculture technology, cold chain logistics, quality assurance software, innovative packaging, and automated feeding solutions.

FLIP 2025 will feature diverse exhibitors from the livestock and poultry sectors, major economy drivers in the continent’s agricultural sector.

Attendees will engage with animal nutrition companies, livestock feed manufacturers, and veterinary clinics while exploring genetic testing and breeding programs, advanced farm management software, and IoT solutions designed to enhance efficiency in livestock operations.

On the poultry side, the expo is bringing together leading equipment suppliers, feed and health maintenance providers, and hatchery and incubation specialists.

Visitors will explore advancements in egg processing, silos, and feed production, ensuring a comprehensive look at the latest developments in poultry farming.

Other sectors across the food value chain will also be represented on the exhibition floor, featuring solutions in food safety, quality control, retail, food service, and more.

FLIP 2025 is co-located with the 8th Africa Agri Expo 2025 and offers a unique opportunity for businesses to expand their footprint in East Africa.
