BSFCON’s mission is to catalyse action by bringing together expertise from science, technology, and commerce to accelerate the adoption of BSF-based solutions worldwide.

Scheduled for August 21–25 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, Pet Fair Asia 2025 will feature over 2,600 exhibitors.

A highlight of the event was the launch of the World Bank and WWF’s landmark report, Harnessing the Waters – A Trillion Dollar Investment Opportunity in Sustainable Aquaculture.

More than 2,500 exhibitors from China and around the world are expected to fill over 310,000 square meters of exhibition space, surpassing last year’s milestone event.

A recurring theme throughout the event was the urgent need to embed welfare in both policy and practice, and to shift industry mindsets from extractive models toward more ethical, inclusive systems.

The Buyer Club targets C-level decision-makers with defined purchasing budgets who are already registered to attend the fair. Applications close on June 30, 2025.

WA25 Uganda will bring together over 400 speakers and participants, including leading scholars, industry experts, policymakers, and practitioners from around the world, to discuss solutions, trends, and policy innovations in aquaculture.

Organised by Informa Markets and supported by the Philippine Department of Agriculture, the twin events are expected to bring together thousands of decision-makers across the livestock, feed milling, meat processing, and aquaculture value chains.

According to the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), although women make up nearly 70% of the global aquaculture workforce, their work is frequently undervalued in data systems, policies, and funding frameworks.

The event will span 48,000 square meters, hosting over 500 exhibitors, including major Chinese players such as Big Herdsman, Guangzhou Guangxing, Nxin, Famsun, Zhengchang, and many others.
