ForFarmers acquires 270,000-tonne Polish feed producer

The acquisition is expected to strengthen Tasomix’s ability to serve customers in eastern Poland across the poultry, ruminant and swine sectors.

POLAND – ForFarmers, through its Polish subsidiary Tasomix, has agreed to acquire 100% of animal feed producer STW SA, adding approximately 270,000 tonnes of annual feed production capacity and strengthening its position in eastern Poland.

STW, based in Sokołów Podlaski, operates a modern feed production facility and employs 76 people. The company was founded in 2016 and is owned by the Leszczyński family.

Recent investments have increased its annual feed production capacity to approximately 270,000 tonnes.

The acquisition includes STW’s feed business, production site, and product and customer portfolio. Its feed logistics and poultry farming operations are excluded from the transaction.

The deal remains subject to approval by the Polish competition authority and is expected to close in early 2027.

“This acquisition, in which we are acquiring the production site and the product and customer portfolio, is a good addition to Tasomix’s activities in eastern Poland and creates scope for further growth,” said Paweł Świerkula, managing director of Tasomix.

He added that the company expects to benefit from STW’s knowledge and experience while achieving efficiency gains in production and logistics.

Building feed capacity in Poland

Tasomix has operated in Poland for more than 35 years and became part of ForFarmers in 2018.

The two companies have worked together for several years, with STW already producing various feeds for Tasomix through contract manufacturing.

The acquisition is expected to strengthen Tasomix’s ability to serve customers in eastern Poland across the poultry, ruminant and swine sectors.

STW CEO Michał Leszczyński said the deal would combine the company’s local presence with ForFarmers and Tasomix’s scale and expertise.

“We are convinced that this acquisition lays a strong foundation for further growth and development,” he said.

The Leszczyński family will continue working with Tasomix, particularly in logistics and supplying feed to its poultry farms.

The transaction adds to ForFarmers’ recent expansion in the Polish feed market.

Earlier in 2026, Tasomix announced the acquisition of Farmpasz Podlasie, a cattle feed producer in northeast Poland with approximately 80,000 tonnes of annual capacity.

ForFarmers and Tasomix have also expanded through the acquisition of Piast, which increased their Polish feed volume by approximately 410,000 tonnes.

In February, ForFarmers announced a joint venture with KPS Food Group to combine Tasomix’s feed activities with KPS’s poultry, slaughter and processing operations. The Polish competition authority has since approved the joint venture.
