Media, events and digital solutions company unveil new identity to reflect broader regional footprint and integrated business services.

KENYA – Business media and events company FW Africa has officially rebranded to FW Brands MEA, marking a significant milestone in its evolution from a niche publishing business into a diversified provider of media, events, creative production and digital marketing services across Africa and the Middle East.
The rebrand, unveiled on June 24, 2026, reflects the company’s expanding regional presence and its ambition to provide integrated business growth solutions for industries operating across the two fast-growing markets.
The new identity also aligns with the increasing economic and trade links between Africa and the Middle East, where investments in manufacturing, agriculture, healthcare, logistics, packaging home and personal care and consumer goods continue to accelerate.
“This evolution reflects more than just a name change; it marks our growth, expanded footprint, coverage and strengthened presence across Africa and the Middle East,” says Francis Juma, Founder and CEO of FW Brands MEA.
“As these two regions continue to trade, invest and grow together, it was only natural that our brand evolves to reflect the markets we actively serve.”
The company’s journey began in 2012 with the launch of Food World Media, a business-to-business publishing company dedicated to delivering industry news and market intelligence to the food and beverage sector.
As demand for its services expanded beyond publishing to include exhibitions, conferences, digital media and business networking platforms, the company adopted the FW Africa brand in 2022.
Under that banner, it built one of the region’s most influential portfolios of B2B media platforms, trade exhibitions and industry conferences.
According to Juma, the latest transformation reflects how both the company and its clients have evolved over the years.
“Our customers today are looking for more than media exposure. They want strategic partners who can help them build brands, generate business opportunities, engage stakeholders and expand into new markets. FW Brands MEA brings all these capabilities together under one unified brand.”
Today, FW Brands MEA operates through six strategic business divisions, each designed to help organizations strengthen their brands, connect with decision-makers and accelerate business growth across Africa and the Middle East.
FW Publishing produces premium trade magazines, digital publications and news platforms covering key industries across the region.
Its portfolio includes Food Business Middle East & Africa, Milling & Feed Middle East & Africa, Sustainable Packaging Middle East & Africa, Dairy Business Middle East & Africa, Home & Personal Care Middle East & Africa, HORECA Middle East & Africa and Healthcare MEA.
FW Insights delivers market intelligence, research and industry data, providing businesses with actionable insights into trends shaping Africa and the Middle East while benchmarking regional developments against mature markets in Europe and the Americas.
Through FW Events, the company organizes some of the continent’s leading business networking platforms, including the AFMASS Food Expos, Africa Packaging Expo, Africa Food Safety Summit, Africa Dairy Innovation Summit, Africa Logistics Expo, AFMASS Food & Drink Festival, and the Africa Hotel & Travels Expo, among other conferences, exhibitions and awards programmes.
The newly strengthened FW PR & Comms division offers integrated public relations, strategic communications, stakeholder engagement, content development and marketing solutions, helping businesses, industry associations and development organizations build credibility and communicate effectively with customers, investors, policymakers and the wider public.
Complementing these divisions are FW Studios, which provides photography, videography, documentary production and podcast services, and FW Digital, which specializes in digital strategy, website development, content creation and integrated marketing campaigns that help organizations enhance their online presence and business performance.
Looking ahead, Juma said the rebrand lays the foundation for the company’s next phase of regional and international growth.
“Our vision is to become the leading business growth platform connecting Africa and the Middle East with global markets. Through trusted journalism, insightful research, impactful events and integrated marketing solutions, we want to help businesses discover opportunities, build meaningful partnerships and succeed in an increasingly interconnected world.”
The transition to FW Brands MEA positions the company for a new era of growth, reinforcing its commitment to serving as a strategic partner for businesses seeking to increase visibility, generate qualified leads and unlock new opportunities across Africa, the Middle East and beyond.
