Trouw Nutrition to host FeedTechnoVision 2026 in India

The event will focus on feed technology, quality, safety and operational efficiency through expert presentations and panel discussions.

INDIA – Trouw Nutrition will bring its flagship FeedTechnoVision 2026 conference to Asia for the first time, gathering feed manufacturers, nutritionists, quality managers and feed safety specialists to address the growing challenges of raw material variability, feed safety and production efficiency across the region.

The two-day event, scheduled for September 29-30, 2026, at the Hyatt Regency in Jaipur, India, comes as Asia’s rapidly expanding feed industry faces increasing pressure to improve consistency, sustainability and operational performance while meeting rising demand for animal protein.

Hosted under Nutreco’s livestock feed business, Trouw Nutrition, the fourth edition of FeedTechnoVision will feature 11 technical sessions and three panel discussions led by experts from Asia, Europe and South America.

Discussions will focus on practical solutions to strengthen feed production systems, improve feed quality and enhance animal performance.

“Asia’s feed industry is evolving at an unprecedented pace. New challenges demand new thinking.

FeedTechnoVision brings together customers, industry leaders, and technical experts to explore the innovations and capabilities that will define the next generation of feed and animal production. Together, we can build a more productive, resilient, and sustainable future for our industry,” said Noel Kim, Managing Director, Nutreco Asia.

According to Trouw Nutrition, feed manufacturers across Asia are increasingly dealing with inconsistent raw material quality, supply chain disruptions, tightening feed safety requirements and greater pressure to optimise production while maintaining animal performance.

Markets including India, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam are becoming increasingly influential in global feed manufacturing, making operational resilience a strategic priority.

The conference will examine how feed producers can move from reactive quality management to predictive, data-driven decision-making by integrating ingredient sourcing, feed processing, quality assurance and animal nutrition into a single production strategy.

“FeedTechnoVision 2026 is designed as a collective learning journey. By bringing together nutritionists, quality leaders, and operations managers, we aim to create a cross-functional common language around the industry’s biggest challenges,” said Pedro Caramona, Global Strategic Marketing Director – X Species at Trouw Nutrition.

“Every participant should leave Jaipur with practical ideas they can implement immediately to build safer, more resilient, and higher-performing feed production systems.”

The programme is organised around four objectives: encouraging cross-functional knowledge sharing, accelerating technology adoption, strengthening industry collaboration and translating technical insights into practical improvements.

Day one will focus on resilient ingredient sourcing, integrated quality systems and proactive feed safety management, with presentations covering feed safety, mycotoxin risk management, microbial ecology and operational excellence.

The second day will explore feed mill optimisation through improved steam quality, moisture management, particle size control, thermal processing and pellet quality before concluding with a discussion on the “Feed Mill of the Future,” examining how automation, digitalisation and smart data will reshape feed manufacturing.

As feed producers increasingly seek greater predictability across the feed-to-food chain, the event reflects a broader industry shift towards integrated production systems that link processing efficiency, feed quality and animal performance to improve profitability and resilience.
