ADM expands SINCRO® partnership model in Mexico

MEXICO – ADM is strengthening its role as a livestock nutrition partner in Mexico by expanding the application of its SINCRO® platform, combining feed formulation, ingredient quality monitoring and real-time production data to help producers improve animal performance, feed efficiency and profitability.

The latest development builds on ADM’s continued investment in SINCRO, following the company’s expansion of the platform across Mexico, Indonesia and Europe last year to enhance feed precision, consistency and on-farm performance.

Rather than supplying feed ingredients alone, ADM is positioning SINCRO as an integrated technical service that links feed manufacturing with livestock productivity. 

The platform combines nutritional formulation, ingredient analysis and continuous performance monitoring to help producers respond more quickly to changing raw material quality and production challenges.

The company’s approach has already delivered measurable results for a Mexican egg producer managing 1.7 million laying hens and producing 60,000 metric tonnes of feed annually.

After transitioning from purchasing individual feed additives to adopting the SINCRO platform, the producer reported a 10% increase in marketable egg production, improved eggshell quality and more than US$200,000 in additional annual profit within a year.

“It has fundamentally changed how we manage our business, and who we see as a partner,” the farm manager said, noting that the operation had shifted from reacting to production problems to anticipating raw material variability and making real-time adjustments.

Data-driven feed management

ADM said SINCRO is built around three integrated pillars: Performance, Nutrition and Control.

The Performance component combines on-farm audits with continuous analysis of zootechnical data to identify production bottlenecks and recommend corrective actions. 

The Nutrition pillar optimises feed formulations according to poultry production stages while adjusting diets for fluctuations in ingredient quality. 

Meanwhile, the Control system uses near-infrared spectroscopy (NIR), X-ray fluorescence (XRF), mycotoxin monitoring and laboratory validation to analyse raw materials and finished feed in real time.

The company recently reinforced these capabilities by installing XRF technology at its premix facility in Tepatitlán. 

ADM said the system is one of only two XRF installations within its global network and will further improve formulation accuracy, mineral analysis, traceability and resource efficiency.

Although initially demonstrated in the poultry sector, ADM said SINCRO has been developed for swine and cattle operations as well, reflecting growing demand for integrated nutrition services across Mexico’s livestock industry.

The platform highlights a broader shift toward precision nutrition, digital feed management and predictive quality control. 

As raw material variability, feed costs and sustainability pressures continue to increase, nutrition companies are increasingly complementing feed ingredients with technical services and data-driven decision-making tools designed to improve production efficiency and profitability across the livestock value chain.
