Amo Group launches new agricultural equipment subsidiary in Nigeria

The new subsidiary focuses on providing end-to-end equipment and technology solutions for the livestock, poultry, and agricultural industries.

NIGERIA – Amo Group has launched Amo Agrotech Ltd., a new subsidiary focused on supplying equipment and technology solutions to Nigeria’s livestock, poultry and agricultural industries, expanding the group’s presence across the wider agricultural value chain.

The new company was officially launched on August 27, 2026, at its new office in Ibadan, Oyo State. 

The event brought together Amo Group executives, employees, customers, partners and other agricultural sector stakeholders.

Amo Agrotech’s portfolio includes poultry equipment, environmentally controlled houses, cage systems, feed mill equipment, agricultural machinery, and chicken and goat processing systems.

Speaking at the launch, Amo Agrotech General Manager Ramchandra Kale said reliable equipment and technical expertise were increasingly important for agricultural businesses seeking to improve efficiency and productivity.

“Agricultural enterprises need reliable equipment solutions that are suited to their operations and supported by the right technical expertise,” Kale said.

Amo Group’s Group Managing Director, Ayoola Oduntan, described the new subsidiary as an important addition to the group’s portfolio, highlighting the role of equipment, technology and efficient processing systems in strengthening agricultural productivity.

“By adding Amo Agrotech to our portfolio, we are expanding the range of solutions we can provide to businesses across the agricultural value chain,” Oduntan said.

Expanding agricultural technology solutions

The launch positions Amo Agrotech to support businesses at different stages of livestock and agricultural production and processing, from poultry housing and feeding systems to feed manufacturing and meat processing.

Representing the Oyo State Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development, Director of Animal Husbandry Services Okunlola also highlighted the importance of investment in modern agricultural solutions, particularly in Oyo State.

Senior Amo Group executives attending the event included Anand Burra, Managing Director of Amo Farm Sieberer Hatchery Ltd., and Agboola Belgore, Managing Director of Amo Byng Nig. Ltd.

Amo Group already operates across poultry production, animal feed, food processing, veterinary pharmaceuticals and other agricultural activities. 

Adding Amo Agrotech broadens the group’s ability to serve businesses with both agricultural production and the equipment needed to support their operations.

The subsidiary will focus on helping agricultural businesses modernise facilities, improve production efficiency and expand capacity across poultry, livestock, feed manufacturing and agricultural processing.
