Alapala commissions 5t/h feed mill in Georgia

GEORGIA – Alapala International has commissioned a new 5 tonnes-per-hour turnkey feed mill for Agro Universal, adding commercial production capacity for mash and pelleted feeds serving poultry, swine, dairy cattle and small ruminants.

The fully operational facility was delivered by Alapala Feed Tech and is designed to provide Agro Universal with an integrated feed production system from raw material intake through to final packing.

Agro Universal, founded in 2017, operates in feed manufacturing and international exports. 

According to Alapala, the new facility enables the company to produce a wider range of feed products while meeting European quality and hygiene standards.

The plant was delivered on a full turnkey basis, covering process and plant engineering, equipment manufacturing and supply, mechanical and electrical installation, automation integration, commissioning, performance optimisation and operator training.

A PLC-based automation system controls the production process, supporting traceability and consistent feed quality across operations.

With a production capacity of 5 tonnes per hour, the facility could produce up to 40,000 tonnes annually if operated continuously for 8,000 hours. 

Actual output will depend on operating schedules, product mix and utilisation.

The project adds to Alapala Feed Tech’s international portfolio of turnkey feed milling installations and reflects continued investment in modern feed manufacturing infrastructure.

The new capacity will allow Agro Universal to manufacture both mash and pelleted feeds across several livestock sectors, strengthening its production and export capabilities.
