Innovad Group to acquire Cinergis as it grows its business in Latin America

The deal will add biotechnology products and technical expertise to Innovad Group’s business in Brazil while supporting its plans across Latin America.

BRAZIL – Innovad Group has signed an agreement to acquire Brazilian animal health and nutrition company Cinergis through its Brazilian subsidiary, Oligo Basics, as the company continues to grow its presence across Latin America.

The transaction is expected to close on August 31, 2026.

The acquisition will add Cinergis’ biotechnology portfolio to Innovad Group’s existing animal nutrition business. The company said the move also supports its long term plans in Brazil and the wider Latin American market.

“We are excited to continue building on the strong foundations, entrepreneurial culture, and engagement we have established in Brazil and Latin America. Through Cinergis, we add a powerful biotechnology platform to complement our existing growth engines in biomonitoring and phytogenics. Together, these platforms support our mission to reduce the use of chemicals and the overreliance on antibiotics in animal nutrition,” said Ben Letor, CEO of Innovad Group.

“We also recognize and honor the legacy built by one of the founding partners, Gabriel Jorge Neto. His entrepreneurial vision, commitment to innovation, and strong relationships with customers and partners have been instrumental in the success of Cinergis. Our ambition is to fully develop these businesses by integrating their capabilities into the broader Innovad Group platform while working closely with the talented Cinergis team to drive future growth,” he added.

Cinergis produces animal health and nutrition technologies, including BIOVERM® and probiotic products that target Salmonella species. The company also provides technical support services that help livestock producers improve animal health while reducing the use of chemical treatments.

Caio Jorge, CEO of Cinergis, said the agreement will help expand the reach of technologies developed by the company.

“Joining Innovad allows us to honor my father, Gabriel Jorge Neto’s lifelong commitment to Brazilian poultry farming by bringing the technologies he helped pioneer to new markets, ensuring that his vision, passion, and legacy continue to create value for the industry,” Jorge said.

Innovad said the acquisition builds on the platform it established after purchasing Oligo Basics in 2024. The company expects Cinergis to strengthen its research, development, manufacturing, and technical capabilities while expanding its product offering across Latin America.

“This acquisition represents a significant milestone in Innovad Group’s long term strategy for Brazil and Latin America. By bringing together complementary portfolios, technical expertise, manufacturing capabilities, and highly skilled teams, we are strengthening our platform for innovation, sustainable growth, and value creation. The combination of our organizations enhances our ability to deliver differentiated solutions, create new opportunities for customers and partners, and further reinforce our position as a leading reference in animal nutrition and health across the region,” said Letícia Montagneiro and Francis Chiossi, Directors Brazil and Latin America at Innovad Group.

The announcement follows another move by Innovad to strengthen its international business. In 2024, the company partnered with AgriPro Premier Nutrition to bring the plant based feed additive Panbonis® back to the Philippine market, adding to its portfolio of natural animal nutrition products in Asia.
