ANDRITZ set to showcase feed processing innovation at AFMA Forum 2026

SOUTH AFRICA – ANDRITZ will once again take its place on the exhibition floor at the AFMA Forum 2026, confirming its participation as a key exhibitor at this year’s edition of South Africa’s leading animal feed industry gathering.

The company will be present at Booth 01 throughout the three-day event, running from 8 to 10 September 2026 at the Sun City Convention Centre in Rustenburg, North West Province.

ANDRITZ is a familiar face at the AFMA Forum, having exhibited at the last edition of the event in 2023, also held at Sun City, where it showcased its feed processing technology, machinery, and plant solutions to delegates from across the value chain.

Its return this year highlights the company’s standing as a regular exhibitor and long-term supporter of the platform, and signals continued engagement with the African animal feed and livestock sector.

This year’s Forum, themed “The Feed Factor: The Chain That Feeds a Nation,” marks AFMA’s 12th Animal Feed Conference.

It positions itself as the feed industry’s premier strategic platform, bringing together leaders from across the feed-to-food value chain to engage on pressing challenges, share insight, and explore innovation and technology in support of a resilient and sustainable food system for South Africa.

The global animal feed market was valued at roughly US$656.1 billion in 2025 and is projected to climb to US$921.3 billion by 2033, growing at a compound annual rate of about 4.3% as demand for meat, dairy and aquaculture products continues to rise.

The 2026 theme highlights feed manufacturing’s central role in national food security, with sector decisions shaping animal protein supply, food affordability and safety, trade competitiveness, and overall system resilience.

The Forum will convene industry leaders, researchers, policymakers, producers, nutritionists, veterinarians and technology providers, alongside the next generation of professionals entering the sector.

Speakers lined up for the event include global voices such as Prof Henrik von Scheel, recognised as the originator of the fourth industrial revolution and a strategic intelligence expert, among other leading figures from the international feed industry.

Because the AFMA Forum is held only once every three years, this year’s gathering carries added weight for exhibitors and delegates alike, offering a rare concentrated opportunity for face-to-face engagement across the region’s feed-to-food value chain.
