The app ensures that every dealer has the tools they need to grow their business and support local farmers more effectively

NETHERLANDS – De Heus Animal Nutrition has launched the De Heus Partner Hub, a new digital platform designed to provide feed dealers with round-the-clock access to training materials, product information and marketing support as the company accelerates digital transformation across its distribution network.
The platform was introduced through a pilot programme in Novi Sad, Serbia, during the International Agricultural Fair, with the company positioning the initiative as part of broader efforts to strengthen collaboration with dealers and improve support for livestock farmers.
According to De Heus, the application provides dealers with access to specialised training modules, real-time product information, and marketing resources to help them respond more effectively to customer needs in the livestock and feed sectors.
“The Partner Hub is more than just an app; it is a commitment to our partners’ success,” said Joost Belt, Group Director Marketing and Sustainability at De Heus.
“By launching this pilot in Serbia, we are empowering our local dealers with world-class digital tools to ensure they stay at the forefront of the animal nutrition industry.”
The launch reflects a growing shift within the global feed industry toward digitalisation, with feed manufacturers increasingly investing in platforms that improve communication, technical support and operational efficiency across supply chains.
Feed companies are under increasing pressure to provide faster technical support, accurate formulation information, and more integrated customer engagement tools as livestock production systems become more data-driven and performance-focused.
De Heus said the platform is intended to move beyond conventional dealer relationships by creating a more connected support system linking feed suppliers, distributors and farmers.
Pavel Musil, General Manager at De Heus, said digitalisation is becoming increasingly important across agriculture, including feed manufacturing and distribution.
“In this era of digitalization, farming and distribution of animal feed are no exception,” Musil said.
“By creating a platform that supports our partners, dealers and farmers, we demonstrate our commitment to their results and sustainable growth.
With Partner Hub, we are moving from transactions towards stronger cooperation and building a tool that we will continue to develop even further in the future. What we are launching today is only the beginning.”
The company also highlighted the commercial benefits the platform could provide to dealers operating in increasingly competitive feed markets.
According to Dalibor Opačina, Commercial Manager at De Heus, the platform is expected to drive stronger sales performance by improving access to technical and product information.
“By enabling faster access to product insights, improving customer engagement, and supporting more informed recommendations, the Partner Hub empowers dealers to increase turnover, expand their customer base, and drive sustainable business growth in an increasingly competitive market,” Opačina said.
Digital platforms are becoming more common across the global feed and animal nutrition industry as companies seek to improve traceability, strengthen customer engagement and support precision livestock production systems.
The adoption of digital tools is also expanding alongside broader sustainability goals, with companies increasingly using technology to improve efficiency, optimise feed use and strengthen supply chain coordination.
Founded in the Netherlands, De Heus Animal Nutrition produces compound feed, premixes, concentrates, and feed specialities for the global livestock sector.
The company operates across Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America, serving poultry, swine, dairy, aquaculture and other animal production industries.
The Serbia pilot is expected to provide insights into how digital dealer support systems can be expanded across other De Heus markets as the company continues investing in technology-driven feed distribution and customer support solutions.
