This marks the first‑ever joint technical forum for both industries and underscores collaboration, innovation, and integrated sector growth across the Middle East & Africa.

JORDAN – The International Association of Operative Millers Middle East and Africa Region (IAOM MEA) is bringing together the flour and feed milling sector in a single technical forum from September 21 to 24, 2026, in Amman, Jordan.
The event will bring together technical millers, global suppliers, and industry leaders with a shared goal: emphasising a combined, integrated approach to flour and feed milling in the Middle East and Africa.
“Built on the success of previous IAOM MEA Milling and Feed Milling Forums, this combined format reflects the evolving needs of modern milling operations and the growing convergence between flour and feed production,” organisers said.
With the region’s animal feed market projected to expand steadily over the coming decade, with volume exceeding 53 M tons by 2035, the forum arrived at a critical time to inspire innovation, collaboration, and investment.
The four-day event is planned to focus on the first 2 days, September 21 and 22, on flour, and on the final 2 days, September 23 and 24, on feed.
It will feature a robust agenda covering key areas, including feed formulation, production technology, operational excellence, automation, and logistics.
Each forum features its own agenda, speakers and technical focus, while maintaining a shared vision of advancing milling excellence through education, innovation and collaboration, they said.
The dual-forum structure allows participants to attend either forum based on their professional focus or both.
IAOM MEA is inviting flour and feed mill owners, production managers, quality control managers, nutritionists and formulators, technical professionals, equipment and ingredient suppliers and industry partners to attend.
Unique networking opportunities
Beyond technical discussions, the forum will offer unparalleled networking opportunities.
Industry professionals can connect with peers, explore new partnerships, and exchange insights on overcoming challenges in the region’s feed and flour milling sector.
Attendees will also gain exposure to the latest industry trends and technologies essential for the sustainability and growth of feed and flour milling operations.
This forum will allow for discussions that specifically revolve around feed and flour milling, which has its niche in the milling industry.
Building on IAOM MEA’s successful regional forums, which have previously been held separately across Sub-Saharan Africa, the Jordan event will set a new benchmark for collaboration in flour and feed milling.
Later in 2026, IAOM MEA will conclude its annual program with the 36th IAOM MEA Conference & Expo in Cape Town, South Africa, from October 19 to 22, further enhancing the region’s milling industry knowledge-sharing platform.
