The transaction is expected to close in the coming weeks, pending final regulatory approvals.

TURKEY – French animal nutrition giant CCPA Group has acquired a majority stake in Yem-Vit, a Turkish specialist in premixes and feed additives, as part of its global “Become” strategy to strengthen its industrial footprint across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
Founded in 1987 and headquartered in Izmir, Yem-Vit generates approximately US$17.5 million in annual revenue and employs 50 staff.
The acquisition gives CCPA an immediate foothold in poultry nutrition, complementing its existing ruminant-focused operations in Turkey through its subsidiary CCPA Turkey, which has operated in the country since 2019.
Poultry feed is a high-growth segment in Turkey, driven by rising domestic demand for chicken meat and eggs, which the Food and Agriculture Organization estimates will grow by 4–5% annually over the next five years.
“This alliance gives us access to new expertise and a broader portfolio of scientifically proven solutions,” said Onat Onater, Managing Director of Yem-Vit.
“It will allow us to support our customers even more effectively in improving both performance and sustainability.”
Turkey’s poultry industry is not only important domestically but also strategically positioned as a regional hub.
Poultry production in the country currently exceeds 2.5 million tons of meat per year, yet local feed production cannot fully meet the sector’s growing needs, creating opportunities for high-quality premix and feed additive providers.
By leveraging Yem-Vit’s established network and expertise, CCPA can address both domestic and regional demand across the Middle East, North Africa, and parts of Eastern Europe.
A global pattern of expansion
The acquisition is part of CCPA Group’s aggressive international expansion, following several strategic moves over the past few years.
In South America, the group acquired Nutrisur in Uruguay, consolidating its operations across the Southern Cone.
In Northern Africa, it continues to expand its influence in Algeria and the Maghreb, supporting millions of tonnes of feed with technical services.
In Southeast Asia and Mexico, long-standing joint ventures such as Euro-Nutec have anchored CCPA’s presence in high-growth emerging markets.
François Pellet, CEO of CCPA Group, said the Yem-Vit acquisition provides a “technical, industrial, and human platform” to serve not only Turkey but also neighbouring countries across the Middle East and Africa.
“This is a clear step forward in our vision to combine industrial scale with local expertise,” he added.
The transaction also marks the exit of Devenish Group, which had supported Yem-Vit since 2017.
Tony McEntee, CEO of Devenish, explained that the sale aligns with their strategy to refocus on core industrial assets in the UK and Ireland.
CCPA now has immediate access to poultry feed expertise, expanding its product portfolio and strengthening its capacity to provide integrated nutrition solutions that address both performance and sustainability.
