Tim Karl and Eric Adamson, vice presidents of milling, join the leadership team.

U.S.A – BinSentry, a North America-based ag-tech company focused on digital feed inventory management, has appointed Tim Karl as Vice President of Milling and Eric Adamson as Vice President of Product, as it looks to accelerate growth and expand its footprint across the animal feed supply chain.
The appointments come as the company scales its technology platform, which is already deployed across more than 55,000 feed bins, positioning BinSentry among the largest providers of real-time feed inventory monitoring solutions globally.
The expansion of its leadership team reflects a strategic push to deepen its presence in feed mill operations and product innovation.
Tim Karl brings 20 years of experience in the feed and milling sector, having spent over two decades in leadership roles across feed manufacturing, operations, and supply chain optimisation.
His background includes working closely with feed mills, including Cargill and Alltech, to improve efficiency, logistics, and procurement strategies, making him well-positioned to lead BinSentry’s expansion into milling-focused solutions.
Eric Adamson brings a strong track record in product development and technology leadership, spanning software platforms, customer-focused product design, and scaling digital solutions.
He is a former founder of an agriculture technology company and an ex-advisor to Fortune 500 companies in agriculture and energy.
He is passionate about improving the world’s agricultural industry using technology.
Prior to joining BinSentry, he co-founded Tortuga AgTech, a leading global fruit harvesting robotics company, which was acquired by Oishii Farm Corporation in 2025.
Ben Allen, Chief Executive Officer of BinSentry, said the appointments are critical to the company’s next phase of growth, particularly as it expands its ProSense HD platform and Control Tower software across the feed industry.
The company’s technology is designed to address long-standing inefficiencies in feed supply chains, which have traditionally relied on manual bin checks, last-minute orders, and reactive logistics.
These practices often result in ingredient shortages, high transport costs, and production disruptions.
Karl noted that the shift toward real-time data and automation could fundamentally change how feed mills operate.
By replacing manual inventory monitoring with continuous data tracking, feed producers can move toward vendor-managed inventory systems that provide greater visibility, improve planning, reduce emergency deliveries, and lower operational costs.
Adamson emphasised the importance of scaling technology to meet industry challenges, noting that BinSentry’s platform is built to solve complex, real-world problems faced by feed manufacturers.
“One of the things that attracted me to BinSentry is how well we are growing our technology platform to solve our customers’ difficult problems, at an unmatched industry-level scale,” Adamson added.
BinSentry recognised among global top 50 ag-tech scale-ups
The leadership expansion comes alongside growing industry recognition for BinSentry’s technology and market position.
The company was recently named among the world’s Top 50 ag-tech scale-ups by SVG Ventures THRIVE. This global initiative identifies high-growth companies delivering innovative and sustainable solutions across agriculture.
The recognition highlights BinSentry’s rapid scaling and its role in advancing data-driven approaches within the feed sector.
The Top 50 list includes companies addressing key challenges across the agricultural value chain, from precision farming and supply chain optimisation to sustainability and resource efficiency.
Being included places BinSentry among a select group of ag-tech firms seen as shaping the future of food and agriculture, reinforcing its position as a leading player in feed inventory and logistics technology.
By strengthening its leadership team while gaining global industry recognition, BinSentry is positioning itself to further expand its capabilities and influence in modernising feed supply chain management.
