EW Nutrition deepens ties with GRASP, moving toward full ownership

The partnership consolidates EW Nutrition’s footprint in Latin America while strengthening its portfolio of natural, functional feed additives.

BRAZIL/GERMANY – EW Nutrition, a German leader in animal nutrition, has signed a strategic agreement with Brazilian feed additive supplier GRASP to gradually acquire full ownership over the next four years.

The phased transition is designed to allow GRASP to continue its development initiatives while progressively integrating into EW Nutrition’s global structure.

“This agreement represents a natural evolution of our successful partnership,” said Jan Vanbrabant, CEO of EW Nutrition. “We are excited to deepen our investment in GRASP and its exceptional team, products, and operations in Brazil.”

This milestone marks the next stage of a process that began in 2011, when EW Nutrition first acquired a majority share in GRASP. Throughout this period, GRASP has built a reputation for quality and innovation, which will remain central as the company moves toward full integration.

“We look forward to this next chapter in our partnership with EW Nutrition,” said Alysson Hoffmann Pegoraro, Managing Director of GRASP. “I am confident this agreement will help us continue delivering innovative solutions for customers worldwide while further expanding GRASP’s global footprint.”

GRASP’s portfolio includes industry-recognised products such as Mastersorb (toxin mitigation) and Activo (gut health management), which will remain key offerings under EW Nutrition’s expanded ownership.

Expanding Presence in Asia

Beyond Latin America, EW Nutrition is also strengthening its presence in Southeast Asia. In December 2025, the company’s SEAP division announced a partnership with PT Agroveta Husada Dharma, appointing the firm as its official distributor in Indonesia.

The collaboration focuses on Mastersorb, EW Nutrition’s flagship solution for mycotoxin risk management. Indonesia, one of the fastest-growing markets in animal nutrition, faces rising demand for feed safety and productivity solutions.

“This collaboration marks an essential step in strengthening our local presence and bringing proven mycotoxin risk management solutions closer to customers on the ground,” EW Nutrition SEAP stated.

By combining global innovation with Agroveta Husada’s local expertise, EW Nutrition aims to enhance animal performance, safeguard feed quality, and contribute to long-term productivity in Indonesia’s livestock sector.

Together, these partnerships highlight EW Nutrition’s dual strategy: consolidating its footprint in Latin America through full ownership of GRASP and expanding into Asia through local distribution alliances.

The moves reinforce the company’s commitment to sustainable growth, animal feed safety, and innovative solutions for livestock producers worldwide.
