USA – FAMSUN USA Design & Engineering Inc. recently appointed industry veteran Dana Nelson as its new aquafeed technical director, strengthening the company’s technical leadership as it expands support for aquaculture feed producers worldwide.
Nelson brings more than 40 years of experience in aquafeed manufacturing, engineering, and production.
His background spans hands-on factory operations, innovation in extrusion technology, and decades of strategic leadership in feed formulation and processing.
In his role at FAMSUN, he will lead aquafeed market development initiatives, provide specialised technical support to key customers, and work closely with the company’s R&D and engineering teams to optimise feed quality, processing efficiency, and overall cost performance.

During his tenure, Nelson helped modernise production systems, expand extrusion capacity, and establish new industry benchmarks for efficiency and product reliability.
