Livestock Malaysia has developed an outstanding reputation since 2001 as Malaysian’s leading event for the feed, livestock and meat industries.

MALAYSIA – Malaysia’s leading livestock trade exhibition is making a comeback this August, with Informa Markets announcing that the 11th edition of Livestock Malaysia will take place from 27–29 August 2025 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC).
The event is expected to bring together thousands of industry players from across the feed, livestock, and meat sectors to showcase the latest innovations shaping the future of animal agriculture.
The biennial event, first launched in 2001, has grown into a premier platform for the livestock industry, connecting key decision-makers, influencers, and buyers from Malaysia, the region, and beyond.
“Livestock Malaysia has developed an outstanding reputation as the country’s leading event for the feed, livestock, and meat industries,” organisers said, noting that the 2025 edition will build on the success of its milestone 10th show held in 2023.
Driving knowledge exchange and business growth
Open exclusively to trade and business visitors, Livestock Malaysia 2025 will feature a wide range of exhibitors from market-leading local, regional, and international suppliers.
Participants will cover the full spectrum of the value chain, including feed and feed additives, livestock production systems, animal health, genetics, meat processing, and value-added meat products.
Beyond the exhibition floor, the event is also known for its specialised conference sessions, where experts, academics, and government officials share insights into the latest trends and challenges affecting the sector.
At the previous edition in 2023, sessions explored critical issues such as corn fermented protein for animal diets, sustainability in trace minerals, cage-free egg production, poultry supply chain management, antibiotic-free practices, and holistic waste management.
Disease detection, control, and new strategies for managing fowl adenovirus infections were also among the hot topics.
By continuing this tradition of knowledge-sharing, the 2025 event aims to provide actionable solutions for industry players navigating shifting consumer demands, biosecurity risks, and sustainability pressures.
Building on regional momentum
The return of Livestock Malaysia follows the recent success of other Informa Markets-led agrifood expos in the region, such as Livestock Philippines 2025 and Aquaculture Philippines 2025, which concluded in June.
Those twin events drew thousands of stakeholders in Manila to explore technologies and strategies for sustainable poultry, livestock, and aquaculture production.
With Malaysia’s livestock sector continuing to adapt to changing dietary patterns, environmental concerns, and the rising cost of inputs, organisers believe the Kuala Lumpur event will serve as a timely forum for addressing both opportunities and challenges.
“This forum serves as a hub of unparalleled knowledge and expertise, where global attendees are invited to participate in a vibrant exchange of insights and ideas,” the organisers added.
Spotlight on innovation and sustainability
Livestock Malaysia 2025 is expected to place a strong focus on cutting-edge technologies and practices that can drive efficiency, improve food safety, and promote sustainability.
From precision poultry farming and modern processing systems to advances in nutrition and biosecurity, the event will highlight solutions that support the long-term resilience of the livestock sector.
As industry players face mounting pressure to reduce antibiotic use, cut costs, and meet evolving consumer expectations, the show is expected to spark vital conversations on how innovation can align with sustainable growth.
With its established reputation, regional influence, and diverse lineup of exhibitors and speakers, Livestock Malaysia 2025 promises to be one of Southeast Asia’s must-attend events for the feed and livestock industries.
“For three days in August, KLCC will transform into a hub where business deals are struck, partnerships are formed, and the future of animal agriculture is envisioned,” the organisers promised.
