Pet Fair Asia 2025 to host global thinkers, trailblazers in three conferences 

CHINA – The global pet industry is converging in Shanghai this August for what is set to be the largest edition of Pet Fair Asia to date, and at the heart of this international gathering are three flagship bilingual conferences. 

Offered with simultaneous interpretation in Chinese and English, the three conferences are the 14th International Pet Industry Summit (Asian CEO Summit), the Asia Pet Food Summit, and the Asia Pet Hospital Management Conference.

With over 2,600 exhibitors and 310,000 square metres of exhibition space already fully booked, Pet Fair Asia 2025 is not only a massive commercial showcase but also a critical platform for strategic dialogue and innovation.

Asian CEO Summit to tackle shifting pet economy landscape

Kicking off on August 19 at the Grand Huan Ballroom, Himalayas Hotel, the Asian CEO Summit will convene C-suite leaders, economists, and innovators to address the summit’s theme: “Navigating the Pet Economy’s New Potential in a Shifting Landscape.”

The summit will explore high-level issues such as macroeconomic volatility, AI transformation, and ESG strategies. 

In the opening keynote, Harry Zhang of KPMG China will unpack response strategies to global trade fluctuations. 

A robust panel featuring executives from Royal Canin China, Mars Pet Nutrition, JD.com, PETKIT, Zoetis, and more will explore themes from innovation and risk mitigation to emotional value and user loyalty.

“We are empowering breakthrough growth for the pet industry and creating a better future for humans and pets,” the organisers said, highlighting the summit’s ambition to map the next chapter of the global pet economy.

Nutrition, fresh food and veterinary innovation take centre stage

On August 20, two parallel conferences will explore downstream themes shaping the pet sector’s future.

The Asia Pet Food Summit will dig deep into the evolution of pet feeding, from nutrition science and biotechnology to cold chain logistics and sustainability. 

With a detailed agenda covering global insights, fresh food breakthroughs, functional ingredients, and high-tech manufacturing, the summit will spotlight how science and innovation are reshaping how we feed our pets.

Meanwhile, the Asia Pet Hospital Management Conference will examine the fast-changing veterinary landscape across Asia. 

Sessions will cover everything from hospital management standards and AI diagnostics to regional cooperation and full lifecycle health services. 

Industry leaders will also explore how hospitals can streamline procurement and elevate the pet owner experience in a growing and competitive market.
