The proposed site will allow MiAlgae to expand its unique process of repurposing whisky industry byproducts to grow microalgae.

The new plant will have a total production capacity of 90 tons per hour, divided into two poultry feed lines (60 TPH) and one ruminant feed line (30 TPH).

By bringing Nutrisur under its umbrella, CCPA gains a strong foothold in Uruguay’s feed industry while offering Nutrisur access to world-class research and innovation resources from both the CCPA and Nutec groups.

The Hub will serve as a collaborative platform for scientists, researchers, and industry stakeholders to drive research, innovation, and capacity-building in animal health.
