AGI delivers first Flexmill feed processing systems to U.S. customers

The Flexmill system is designed for on-farm and commercial operations in a compact and modular space.

USA – AGI (Ag Growth International) has delivered its first Flexmill feed processing systems to customers in the United States, positioning the solution as a compact, modular option for both on-farm and commercial feed operations.

According to the company, this marks a milestone in the market launch of modular feed production technology. The Flexmill system is designed to address space, efficiency and installation constraints commonly faced by feed producers, while supporting production capacities of up to 10 metric tons per hour.

The company said the Flexmill system integrates precise batch processing, efficient milling, advanced micro-dosing and modern material handling within a compact footprint.

Its bolted design allows the system to be installed inside existing buildings with minimal structural modification, reducing downtime and capital disruption for producers upgrading or expanding feed operations.

Noam Silberstein, Senior Vice President of Food and Feed at AGI Global, said the system was developed to respond directly to operational challenges across the feed sector.

“The Flexmill system solves real plant challenges with its compact, configurable design that delivers consistent, high-quality feed,” Silberstein said.

Initial U.S. installations for the Flexmill system began last year, with one of the early deployments completed at a poultry farm in the Mid-Atlantic region.

AGI said these early installations are being used to demonstrate the system’s performance in real operating conditions, particularly for producers seeking flexible batch sizes, accurate ingredient inclusion and improved material flow without large-scale plant construction.

Building on this early adoption, AGI plans to expand Flexmill installations in 2026. Planned projects include additional on-farm systems as well as a feed processing facility at the University of Wyoming Laramie Research and Expertise Center (LREC).

The LREC installation is expected to support research, training and demonstration activities, giving students and industry stakeholders hands-on exposure to modern feed processing technologies.

Shawn Conway, AGI’s Director of Commercial Application and Product Transfer, highlighted the operational benefits of the system’s modular approach.

“Flexmill’s bolted-on, modular design allows for quick setup, and its multi-component scales enable simultaneous batch processing to maximize throughput,” Conway said.

Showcasing Flexmill at IPPE 2026

AGI used the International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE) 2026 in Atlanta this week to further promote the Flexmill system.

During the event, the company conducted training sessions focused on configurable feed processing solutions, with an emphasis on cost savings linked to storage optimization and efficient batch processing.

According to AGI, these sessions were aimed at helping feed mill operators and integrators better understand how modular system design can improve efficiency while controlling capital and operating costs.

By offering a system that can be scaled, reconfigured and installed within existing infrastructure, AGI is targeting producers seeking incremental upgrades rather than full plant replacements.
