In parallel with the Enhanz launch, NutriQuest also unveiled AcidLyte during the World Pork Expo, a swine hydration and gut health product aimed at improving piglet vitality and resilience.
USA – NutriQuest has signed an exclusive global licensing agreement with Eastman to commercialise Enhanz™, a powerful new feed additive for swine and poultry that promises to reshape animal nutrition strategies worldwide.
The agreement positions NutriQuest as the global distributor of Enhanz through a competitive sublicensing model.
Under this approach, animal health and nutrition companies will vie for the right to market the additive, with NutriQuest awarding sublicenses only to the most qualified partners.
NutriQuest, based in Mason City, Iowa, has conducted extensive research on Enhanz, identifying “blockbuster” potential in swine applications, particularly in lactating sows and late-finishing pigs.
The company believes the additive can significantly enhance performance and profitability in livestock production systems.
“We are excited to introduce Enhanz to the market as part of our new business model,” said Dr. Kim Friesen, president of NutriQuest. “This agreement aligns with our mission to provide innovative, science-based solutions that drive efficiency and profitability for animal production.”
Eastman, a global supplier of speciality feed additives, brings to the table a robust portfolio of solutions aimed at feed preservation, hygiene, and gut health. Enhanz fits squarely within that mission, offering producers a cutting-edge solution to improve feed cost efficiency and animal performance.
“Enhanz may be the most significant technology NutriQuest has developed in its 18-year history,” said Steve Weiss, CEO of NutriQuest. “It addresses key feed cost and animal performance challenges.”
The sublicense process, which is open globally, is expected to accelerate the adoption of Enhanz while allowing NutriQuest to reinvest in new R&D for future breakthroughs.
The competitive selection ensures that Enhanz will reach markets through capable partners committed to science-backed innovation.
NutriQuest launches AcidLyte
In parallel with the Enhanz launch, NutriQuest also unveiled AcidLyte during the World Pork Expo, a swine hydration and gut health product aimed at improving piglet vitality and resilience.
“AcidLyte works like an electrolyte, helping pigs stay hydrated and resilient,” said Dustin Dean, consulting nutritionist at NutriQuest.
NutriQuest continues to expand its suite of solutions, underscoring its focus on collaboration, performance, and profitability in the global animal production industry.
“Whether producers are refining their feeding strategies or planning for long-term growth, our team is ready to collaborate,” Friesen added.
